External Outreach
Outreach to external supplier diversity organizations is a key part of our supplier diversity development strategy.
Supplier diversity outreach is a collaborative effort between our supplier diversity and procurement functions, business line and departmental staff, and diverse business development organizations. Regular interaction with these organizations allows us to connect with and discuss business opportunities with diverse suppliers and to share best practices with procurement organizations in other companies or agencies. Outreach also helps us understand the business challenges faced by diverse suppliers, which helps guide us as we design and deliver technical assistance and capacity building programs.
