The First Location of FRBR

The original building (on right) of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond was located at 1109 East Main Street, Richmond, VA.

In 1914, the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond first rented space at 1109 East Main Street. It expanded to occupy seven different buildings in downtown Richmond before it moved into its first permanent home at 9th and Franklin Streets across from Capitol Square in 1921.
