George Seay's Honorary Colonel Certificate from the Commonwealth of Virginia

Seay was made an honorary colonel February 7, 1910.

Early in his career, George Seay, the first governor of the Richmond Fed, served on the staff of Virginia Governor William Hodges Mann. As was the custom at the time, select members of the governor’s staff were made honorary colonels. Seay received this honor in 1910.
