Richmond is Granted a Regional Reserve Bank

The front page of "The Times Dispatch" announcing that a regional Reserve Bank was coming to Richmond.

At 6:30 p.m. on April 2, 1914, Richmond learned that it would house one of 12 regional Reserve Banks. Around 800 people gathered the next evening at The Jefferson Hotel to pay tribute to the city's campaign committee.
