We implement congressional laws on a wide range of banking and financial activities, in part through regulations. When modifications to these regulations are proposed to meet the current needs of the financial community, the public is invited to provide input via the comment letter process.

These announcements give prompt notice of amendments and proposed amendments to Federal Reserve regulations and policies, summarize them, and provide links to full information.
BSA Coalition
The BSA Coalition is an organization of Fifth District bankers and regulators who communicate about issues related to the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering efforts. The group holds quarterly meetings, publishes a newsletter and maintains an independent Web site.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond serves in an advisory capacity and does not necessarily endorse the content on the BSA Coalition Web site.
