Overview

As part of its strategic commitment to build capacity in the community development field, the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is sponsoring a full-day leadership succession planning workshop with TransitionGuides. TransitionGuides developed its succession planning curriculum in partnership with the Annie E. Casey Foundation expressly for community development and nonprofit organizations. This training will help organizations develop their retirement and/or emergency succession plans so that their customers will continue to receive services even during times of change.

TransitionGuides encourages organizations to send teams of two to three people, including the executive director, a board member and/or a rising leader. All instructional materials, meals and parking will be fully sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and provided to participants at no cost.
