The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the Job Opportunities Task Force will be hosting a forum to discuss the recession’s impact on employment prospects for Maryland workers. The forum will discuss national workforce trends, the state of the Maryland workforce, prospects for the national, regional and local economies, and discuss geographic areas and industry sectors where job growth is occurring or likely to occur.
Andy Bauer from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond will discuss employment and economic trends, followed by a panel discussion featuring Maryland Secretary of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Alex Sanchez, and Job Opportunities Task Force Executive Director, Jason Perkins-Cohen. This forum was made possible through the support of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, and the Open Society Institute.
If you would like to obtain a copy of the full training, submit a DVD request to Leona Chan. Include the event name and date, the recipient's name, and the mailing address with your DVD request.
