Overview

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is partnering with Legal Services South Carolina and United Way of Greenville County to reduce the number of foreclosures by educating homeowners about their legal rights under the Home Affordability and Modification program. Many homeowners who have received foreclosure notices have not been given an opportunity to apply for a loan modification. This workshop will help to halt some foreclosures by educating homeowners as well as renters on the HAMP process. Homeowners will also receive free legal advice onsite. This event is open to the public for anyone at risk of foreclosure or those that may need legal assistance.

Audience

South Carolina county residents of Greenville, Anderson, and Pickens who are at-risk of foreclosure.
