The Maryland Mortgage Fraud Prevention Project (MFP) will be hosting a free pro bono attorney training on Tuesday, May 4. More than 50 attorneys have volunteered thus far to help current and future Maryland homeowners avoid unsustainable and/or fraudulent mortgage transactions.
Civil Justice Inc. will offer the free "Basic Training: Reviewing Home Purchase Contracts & Mortgage Loan Documents" workshop in exchange for a pro bono commitment to review proposed documents for either one purchase or one refinance. This training is a co-partnership between Civil Justice Inc. and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
