The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Capital Area Foreclosure Network (C.A.F.N.) and Fannie Mae has partnered to hold the D.C. Metro Area Tenants at Foreclosure Conference.
This one-day conference will offer up-to-date information on federal, state and local laws intended to protect tenants whose landlords are facing foreclosure. Participants will discuss the challenges that arise for various stakeholders and explore effective responses to real-life case studies from Washington, D.C., suburban Maryland and Virginia.
There is no cost for the conference and lunch will be provided.
Attorneys, housing counselors, housing agency staff, property managers, mortgage brokers and real estate agents, and others with an interest in rental housing.
This workshop will not offer continuing education credits for real estate sales agents and brokers or property managers. However, certificates of attendance will be available for attendees who wish to submit such certificates to their professional associations in hopes of being awarded four hours toward their continuing education credit requirement.
For more information about the conference, contact Amy Fishman at the Nonprofit Roundtable at (202) 973-2506 or information@capitalareaforeclosurenetwork.org.
