Overview

The Community College Workforce Alliance and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond are hosting, From Recession to Recovery: A Forum on Employment Trends and Workforce Development Strategies in Virginia, a forum that will gather workforce development professionals, economists, and policymakers together with the goal of learning about best practices and successful initiatives in the workforce development field. The forum will focus on job advancement initiatives and employment trends at the state and national level.

The Community College Workforce Alliance and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond would like to announce the participation of Ben S. Bernanke, Chairman, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, at the upcoming event on June 9, 2010. Chairman Bernanke will offer closing remarks at the conclusion of the program.

Space is still available. The deadline to register is June 2.
