Overview

This meeting enables representatives of all 46 counties to take a leadership role in shaping the Association's legislative policy positions. The Coalition reviews recommendations presented by South Carolina Association of Counties (SCAC) steering committees and elects officers. Participants will learn more about critical issues facing county officials.

Speakers will include:

Courtney Mailey, regional community development manager in the Community Affairs Department with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Rick Kaglic, regional economist with the Charlotte branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Courtney Mailey and Rick Kaglic will lead a presentation on the economic environment and budgetary challenges on a local level.
