Overview

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and Nonprofit Learning Point invite you to attend a workshop on what it means to be an effective and impactful leader of a nonprofit organization in today's challenging environment.

Alan Hutson, adjunct faculty with Nonprofit Learning Point, will lead a discussion that includes the building blocks of board service including fundamentals of governance, structure and practices, and roles and responsibilities.

The workshop will close with a networking reception to facilitate conversations between prospective Board members and nonprofit leaders.

Audience

This interactive workshop is targeted toward prospective board members with finance and business expertise, as well as nonprofit organizations looking to recruit an emerging group of volunteer leaders.
