Nonprofit leaders are invited to attend an interactive workshop featuring Dr. Roop Mahajan, Director of Virginia Tech’s Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science (ICTAS).  Dr. Mahajan is an award-winning innovator who leads teams of engineers and scientists in pursuit of new technologies. How does scientific innovation relate to the nonprofit sector? Come and learn about the Black Swan concept and other thought-provoking ideas being used by top academics. Alan Hutson of The Monument Group will bridge the gap between scientists and nonprofits and work with the audience to explore how Dr. Mahajan’s work can be applied in our community.
