The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, in partnership with the United Way of Greenville and the Greenville County Human Relations Commission, is hosting an all-day forum on the legal and financial impact of foreclosure on homeowners.
Attendees will hear from legal, financial, credit and real estate professionals about the challenges that homeowners face in dealing with foreclosure in South Carolina. These experts will offer advice on how homeowners can make the best financial and legal decisions in light of their current housing situation.
The goal is to educate housing counselors, state and local government entities, realtors, housing and social service providers, and legal staff, as well as homeowners, about the ramifications of these choices.
Attendees will also learn about and be connected to key community services to help them throughout their current housing challenges.
