Overview

The workshop, sponsored by the Virginia Association of Fund Raising Executives, offers practical advice to nonprofits on how to effectively connect with donors in an age of information overload. Nonprofits will learn how to become masters of their own message and how to gain potential donors. Attendees will experience an energetic program that leads them through a hands-on, creative experience on selecting, shaping and delivering information to secure and sustain a competitive edge in the fundraising marketplace.

Guest Speaker:
Penelope Burk, author and president of Cygnus Applied Research, Inc. Burk has over 30 years experience in nonprofit management and developed groundbreaking research on remedies for high donor attrition.
