The Virginia Microenterprise Network and its partners invite you to a conference on micro development and micro business lending. Hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, the conference features a keynote presentation by author Michael Shuman, Fellow at Cutting Edge Capital; learning tracks on sustainability, funding, and technical assistance; a lunchtime marketplace featuring women-owned micro businesses; and a dinner focusing on crowd funding and other aspects of the American Jobs Act with Yale Law School scholar, Andrew Verstein.
This event is the result of a planning partnership with the Virginia Microenterprise Network, Association for Enterprise Opportunity, Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, Empowered Women International, Virginia Community Capital and On Point Services.
Micro lenders; small business support organizations; community and economic development agencies, non profit organizations; and state and local officials.
