Baltimore Office, Baltimore, Md.
What opportunities will shape Greater Baltimore’s next economy? How can we work together to attract new investment and expand opportunity for all residents of the region? These questions are the heart of the four-part series Redefining Capital sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and a host of public and private partners.
Please join us for the second session of this series, Redefining Social Capital: Attracting and Supporting New Immigrants, which will focus on the promise new immigrants offer the city and region. This session will explore how we can create a community that welcomes new immigrants and offers them the education and economic opportunity needed for them to participate fully in our next economy. We will highlight new research as well as cost-effective strategies that have been used in Maryland, across the nation, and by other countries to attract and support new immigrants.
Please also mark your calendars for future dates in this exciting forum series:
Nonprofit organizations, community development professionals, financial institutions, CDFIs, intermediaries, educators, foundations, and local leaders in government, business and the Greater Baltimore community should plan to attend.
