Overview

The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) is holding a Capacity Building Initiative training series on "Innovations in Small Business Lending." CDFIs that are currently engaged in providing loans to small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to attend free trainings provided by Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP (Deloitte FAS).

At each session, Deloitte FAS's experienced instructors will conduct in-depth training focused on identifying strategic market trends, assessing selected small business opportunities, evaluating their potential economic and social impact, and assessing their risks. The goal of this training is to support CDFIs in stepping outside their comfort zones to explore new market opportunities and examine processes for innovating new business.

The training workshop is free, but registration is required.
