Overview

This secondary workshop will introduce teachers to Fed resources for teaching topics related to the banking system. By examining primary source documents and conducting simulations we will answer all the essential questions on the Great Depression from the SOLs and answer your questions about the Fed. We’ll cover CE.9c with a trading game. Teachers will pick up practical, active learning lessons for teaching about the Fed, as well as participate in a discussion with a Fed economist. Activities will weave in writing, art, and financial literacy SOLs..
