How did the housing crisis start? What is securitization? Did the Fed see this coming? What is the Fed doing to fix it?
Teachers of grades K-12 are invited to join the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond for three FREE evening sessions on the current economic situation at which we will attempt to answer these questions and many more. Each evening, a panel of economists will discuss one aspect of the current economic situation and the Fed’s response. Following the panel, economic education specialists will present lessons and other materials for teaching related K-12 content. Participants will receive up to nine hours of continuing education credit. Door prizes will be given away each night. Please see the attached agenda for details.
Teachers outside the Richmond area may attend this conference by webinar. Contact Amanda Gibson to sign up.
Participants are encouraged to register for all three sessions.
