The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is introducing "The Fed Experience," a major new interactive exhibit that brings the economy to life. Richmond Fed President Jeffrey M. Lacker will make remarks. Other senior leaders of the Richmond Fed will offer tours of the exhibit.
"The Fed Experience" uses a variety of lively exhibits, touch-screen technology and real-life examples to explore the growth of living standards, the importance of price stability and the Federal Reserve's role in the economy. A series of videos features current and former Fed chairmen, among others, discussing the Great Depression, Great Inflation, Great Moderation and Great Recession. A successor to the Richmond Fed's former Money Museum, "The Fed Experience" will open to the public July 13.
