Overview

This two-day training session, offered in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and the North Carolina Council on Economic Education, will assist Civics and Economics (C&E) teachers in developing yearly or semester plans for C&E and meaningful and engaging units of instruction. During the workshop, participants will collaborate to begin designing a C&E unit. The workshop will also provide C&E teachers with training to advance their understanding of how to integrate the personal financial literacy strand with the economics and civics and government strands of the course.

The workshop is free to North Carolina public and charter school teachers. Registration is required.
