The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announced the winning videos in its Share the Wealth: A Financial Literacy Video Contest at the Byrd Theater in Richmond, Virginia on December 13.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Office, has extended registration for the "A Conversation with the Chairman" event to September 22.

The Richmond Fed will no longer participate in High School Fed Challenge. Past participants are encouraged to explore other economic education opportunities and resources offered by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

This issue considers whether quantitative measures alone capture quality of life. Also discussed are important economic concepts relevant to the recent recession and recovery along with several lesson plans and resources specially selected to enhance your 21st Century classroom.

Chantilly High School students from Chantilly, Virginia, won the preliminary round of the Federal Reserve's 2010 High School Fed Challenge competition held at the Baltimore Branch on April 12th, 2010.
