Colleges and universities within the Fifth Federal Reserve District are invited to compete in this year’s College Fed Challenge—an academic competition designed to expand college students' understanding of the Fed’s unique role in the economy and the importance of Federal Open Market Committee decisions.
Local office competitions will take place in Richmond, Va. on October 30; Baltimore, Md. on November 1; and Charlotte, N.C. on November 5. The winners will move on to compete at the district level in Richmond on November 13 for a chance to represent the Fifth District in the national competition at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. on November 27.
