Students from Anderson University won the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s second annual Share the Wealth financial literacy video contest.

A new website has been launched called TeachingMoneyVA.org to help Virginia’s high school teachers find quality resources that they can use in teaching Virginia’s new economics and personal finance course.

This edition of the 5E Educator concentrates on the causes of — and possible impediments to — economic recoveries. Inside the issue are two articles and accompanying activities that explore factors that determine the strength of recoveries and examine the severity of unemployment in the recent recession and recovery.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announced the winning videos in its Share the Wealth: A Financial Literacy Video Contest at the Byrd Theater in Richmond, Virginia on December 13.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Office, has extended registration for the "A Conversation with the Chairman" event to September 22.

The Richmond Fed will no longer participate in High School Fed Challenge. Past participants are encouraged to explore other economic education opportunities and resources offered by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
