College Fed Challenge

In presentations before a panel of judges competing teams are asked to analyze economic conditions and recommend an appropriate course for monetary policy. The teams must also be prepared to answer a variety of questions from the judges about their presentation and the Federal Reserve. Students are judged on their analysis of the economic data, their understanding of the Fed, the economy and their teamwork. The competition is held at local and district levels. District winners compete in the national competition at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
