College Fed Challenge

The Fed Challenge is an academic competition designed to expand the community's understanding of the Federal Reserve System's unique role in the economy and the importance of Federal Open Market Committee decisions. The competition is framed to assist in the development of students' research, group dynamics, presentation, and critical thinking skills.

  • -Baltimore: November 1-2, 2007*
  • -Charlotte: November 7, 2007
District Competition Date
  • -November 16, 2007
National Competition Dates
  • -November 26-27, 2007

Deadline for registering to compete is two weeks prior to the office competition.

*A second pilot for the Community College (CC)
Fed Challenge Competition will be held at
the Baltimore Office.

  • -CC registration deadline is November 12th, 2007
  • -CC local competition: November 29th, 2007
  • -CC national competition: December 7th, 2007

Community College Fed Challenge follows the same
rules as the College Fed Challenge, but is only open
to community colleges in the Baltimore Office's region.

Community colleges may participate in College
Fed Challenge Competition at the Richmond and
