Student Creative Expression Contest

The Fifth Federal Reserve District sponsors a Student Student Creative Expression Contest at each office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. The annual contest is open to all high school students, grades nine through twelve.

2007-2008 Student Student Creative Expression Contest

Topic: Imagine you are a super hero who has mysteriously gained extraordinary powers that allow you to solve economic problems throughout the world. By considering an economic problem or issue, explain how you would use your powers to save the proverbial day!!

In your short story or graphic novel/comic book be sure to:
  1. -Identify and describe your super hero. Your super hero may work with friends or be part of a group. If so, please also identify/describe his/her super friends,
  2. -Design and develop your super hero or heroes' powers,
  3. -Describe the economic problem/issue your super hero is addressing,
  4. -Analyze how your super hero uses his/her powers to solve the problem.
