The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following officer appointment:
Rebecca Goldberg has been appointed to the position of assistant vice president in the Currency Technology Office. The appointment was effective January 22.
Goldberg will lead a team of engineers and analysts working on long-term projects. She comes to the Richmond Fed from Capital One, where she was director of IT project management in enterprise data services. Previously, Goldberg worked for Danaher in Greensboro, N.C., and for several companies in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park.
Goldberg earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer engineering at North Carolina State University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
The Richmond Fed serves the Fifth Federal Reserve District, which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and most of West Virginia.
