<p>The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces a new officer appointment.</p>
<p>The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following officer appointment:</p><p>Marshal S. Auron will become a vice president in the Bank's Charlotte office, effective Jan. 10, 2011. He will be responsible for the Risk and Policy unit of the Supervision, Regulation and Credit function.</p><p>Auron is joining the Richmond Fed from Velligan Blaxall Consultants, in Pittsburgh, where he holds the position of senior risk consultant and chief liability strategist. Previously, he worked as director of strategic risk management for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh and was a vice president with PNC Bank. He earned a B.S. degree in political science and economics from American University and an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.</p>
