The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following officer appointment:
Anne Gossweiler will be promoted to the position of vice president in the Bank's Supervision, Regulation and Credit department, effective Jan. 1, 2011. She will retain responsibility for the department's Operations and Staff Development unit.
Gossweiler joined the Richmond Fed in 1999 and has held leadership positions, including manager and assistant vice president, in Reserve Accounts and as administrative officer in Research. She joined the Supervision department in May.
Before joining the Fed, Gossweiler worked for nine years at the U.S. Treasury's Financial Management Service. She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and holds a master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
The Richmond Fed serves the Fifth Federal Reserve District, which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and most of West Virginia.
