The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following officer promotions:
Effective March 1, 2010:
Lisa A. White was named vice president in the Charlotte Office with responsibility for the Large Complex Banking Organization Unit of the Supervision, Regulation and Credit department. Ms. White joined the Federal Reserve Bank's supervision and regulation staff as an assistant examiner in the Richmond Office in 1995 and transferred to Charlotte in 1998. She was named assistant vice president in 2005 and vice president in 2010. White earned a B.A. degree in economics and management and political science from Albion College, Albion, MI and a M.B.A. degree from Wake Forest University.
Effective March 15, 2010:
Dennis P. Smith was appointed to assistant general counsel/assistant vice president in the Richmond Office's Legal department, focusing on issues relating to payments and records management. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Mr. Smith was a senior attorney with Wells Fargo & Co. He earned a B.S. degree in economics from Virginia Commonwealth University and a J.D. degree from Catholic University Law School in Washington, D.C.
