The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following officer appointments:
Wendi Homza Hickman will be promoted to the position of vice president and chief human resources officer, effective April 16, 2011.
Hickman joined the Richmond Fed in 2008 in Human Resources. She was promoted to assistant vice president in 2009. Previously, she was a vice president at LandAmerica Financial Group. Hickman earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Arlene Saunders will be promoted to the position of vice president, effective April 16, 2011, with responsibility for human resources technology systems.
Saunders joined the Richmond Fed in 1973 in Human Resources. She was promoted to assistant vice president in 1995. Saunders received an associate degree in banking and financial management from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.
The Richmond Fed serves the Fifth Federal Reserve District, which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and most of West Virginia.
