The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following officer appointment:
Richard Gilbert has been appointed to the position of vice president in the Bank’s Supervision, Regulation and Credit department. The appointment is effective August 1.
Gilbert, currently an assistant vice president with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, will co-lead the community and regional supervision team at the Richmond Fed. Gilbert worked at the Richmond Fed from 2003 to 2010 and began his Fed career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
Gilbert holds a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Drexel University.
The Richmond Fed serves the Fifth Federal Reserve District, which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and most of West Virginia.
