The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following officer appointment:
Dr. Kevin W. Fergusson has been appointed to the position of vice president and medical director with responsibility for the Bank’s Health Services department. The appointment is effective November 1. Fergusson will succeed Dr. Victor M. Brugh II, who is retiring.
Fergusson currently serves as medical director of the Westminster Canterbury Richmond retirement community. His previous experience includes work at the Virginia Health Quality Center, The Doctors’ Patient Education Network and the Federal Occupational Health Clinic. He has taught at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia and maintained a private medical practice.
Fergusson received his medical degree and a master’s degree in health administration at VCU. His internship and residency were at the Medical College of Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
