Prince George's Community College Wins Federal Reserve Bank's 2006 Interdistrict Community College Fed Challenge Competition Prince George's Community College, representing the Baltimore region has won the Federal Reserve Bank's first year pilot Community College Fed Challenge Competition. The teams delivered 20-minute presentations on monetary policy to Federal Reserve economists Andrew Bauer and Robert Jabaily as well as James Winder from Merrill Lynch. The teams were scored on content, teamwork, responses to questions, presentation, and style. |

Virginia Commonwealth University Wins Federal Reserve's Fifth District College Fed Challenge Competition Virginia Commonwealth University of Richmond, Va., won the District title in the Fifth Federal Reserve’s annual College Fed Challenge Competition. VCU edged out Mount Saint Mary’s University by one point to win the District title, and will advance to the national competition to be held Nov. 28 at the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. |
