Prince George's Community College, representing the Baltimore region has won the Federal Reserve Bank's first year pilot Community College Fed Challenge Competition. The teams delivered 20-minute presentations on monetary policy to Federal Reserve economists Andrew Bauer and Robert Jabaily as well as James Winder from Merrill Lynch. The teams were scored on content, teamwork, responses to questions, presentation, and style.
Prince George's Community College winners included students Steve Beaty, Denise Jackson, Anita Pitchford, John White, Trevor Young, and Allan Gadia (alternate).The team was coached by Professor Margaret Njoroge.
