NOTE: List is ranked by revenues. All companies on the list must publish financial data and must report part or all of their figures to a government agency. Private companies and cooperatives that produce a 10-K are, therefore, included; subsidiaries of foreign companies incorporated in the United States are excluded. West Virginia had only one Fortune 1000 firm headquarters located in Wheeling, which isn't within the official boundaries of the Fifth Federal Reserve District.
