The Regional Economics Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond has developed the MSA Spotlight as a resource to further understand and evaluate the performance of the Fifth District economy. Released every quarter, the Spotlight goes beyond broad, aggregate state statistics to focus in on the individual economies of key District metropolitan statistical areas or MSAs.
