We Have an Award-winning Workplace

At the Richmond Fed, we’re proud to be recognized as a diverse and inclusive workplace that values our employees. In fact, employees sharing their experiences working here helped us receive much of this recognition!

2016-2017 Active RVA Certified Workplace Award
The award from Sports Backers recognizes our Bank as an Active RVA Certified Workplace who adopts, supports and engages physical activity as part of our culture. Our fitness centers, classes, seminars and the many other Wellness@Work programs motivate employees to adopt healthy habits.

Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality Award Winner
This award recognizes corporate policies and practices and is a measure of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality within organizations. The Richmond Fed, for the second time, obtained a perfect score on the Human Right’s Campaign Corporate Equality Index Survey for 2016, which designates an organization as a “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.”

2016 Capital District Champions of Disability Employment Award
The Richmond Fed received this award for our dedication to hiring and supporting individuals with disabilities. The Virginia Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services recognizes organizations across the state for their efforts to promote a diversified and inclusive workplace.

2013 Sterling Workplace Award Finalist
We were pleased to be a finalist in this competition that recognizes employers that focus on employee engagement, community involvement, inclusion and diversity, and workforce development.

2012 Wellness in the Workplace Award Winner
The Virginia Business Coalition on Health recognized us for our Wellness@Work initiative. Our program helps employees focus on fitness, nutrition, prevention and emotional well-being through on-site fitness centers and classes, smoking cessation support, monthly wellness events and a program that rewards healthy choices.
