Telegram from George Seay to John Skelton Williams

On April 2, 1914, Comptroller of the Currency John Skelton Williams announced the 12 districts of the Federal Reserve System. Richmond was named the home of the Fifth District. The following day, George Seay, the first governor of the Richmond Fed, wired his appreciation to Mr. Williams.
