Community Investment Council

Meet Oswaldo Acosta: A Business Development Partner for Our Communities

Our Community Investment Council is one way that we glean unique perspectives from our communities. The members of our Council help to identify emerging issues and trends across our District.

Meet Oswaldo Acosta, the director of Small Business Programs at the Latino Economic Development Center in Washington, D.C., and a former Community Investment Council member.

Video is temporarily unavailable.

The Latino Economic Development Center is a financial institution that provides technical assistance and micro lending services to small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Maryland, areas.

On the Community Investment Council, Acosta was a voice for the small business community in the financial and commercial corridors that we serve. He worked to level the playing field for small business owners to succeed in a very competitive business environment.

Meet our current Community Investment Council.
