Margaret G. Lewis, RN, FACHE, is the former president of HCA’s Capital Division, which includes hospitals in Virginia, New Hampshire, Indiana and Kentucky. Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, the Capital Division includes HCA Virginia Health System, which has facilities in central, southwestern and northern Virginia.
Lewis previously held a number of executive positions in HCA’s Richmond market, including CEO of Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals. She has wide-ranging experience in support of business and community organizations, serving as a board member of Smithfield Foods, the Science Museum of Virginia, Averett University and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. She served on the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia and as a board member of LEAD Virginia, Richmond’s Future, the Richmond Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Medical Society of Virginia Foundation and Virginia Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Program.
Lewis received an associate’s degree from John Tyler Community College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Medical College of Virginia and a MBA from Averett University.
