C. Richard Miller Jr. is president and chief executive officer of Woodsboro Bank, a community banking institution in Woodsboro, Md., founded in 1899. He joined the bank in 1996 and was named president and CEO the following year.
Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in business and public administration from the University of Maryland, and a master’s degree in public affairs from Hood College. He also is a graduate of the American Bankers Association's National Commercial Lending School.
Miller is a member of the American Bankers Association's Government Relations Council Administrative Committee. He is a past chair of the Maryland Bankers Association and serves on its Government Relations Council.
Miller’s community service includes leadership positions with the Weinberg Center for the Arts, the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek, The Loats Foundation, the Community Foundation of Frederick County and the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church. He also served in the U.S. Army.
