Becky Bareford is senior vice president with responsibility for the Bank’s human resources function, including HR Operations, Talent and Organizational Development, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and the System’s Payroll CBAF services.
Becky Bareford is a native of Virginia. She earned her B.S. degree in business from Virginia Tech in 1996.
Bareford joined the Federal Reserve in 1998 as a financial analyst. Prior to her appointment as senior vice president and a member of the management team in 2014, she served as vice president in the Bank’s HR department, with responsibility for the Federal Reserve’s Systemwide payroll operation. She also has held leadership positions in the Bank’s Accounting, Payroll and Procurement departments, and was named an assistant vice president and officer of the Bank in 2009. Prior to joining the Fed, she worked in the private sector in financial management roles.
In addition to her work with Payroll CBAF, Bareford represents the Bank on the Federal Reserve System’s Subcommittee on Human Resources (SOHR) and previously served on the leadership team during the establishment of the Federal Reserve’s National Procurement Office.
