Take the Survey 2017

The Richmond Fed, in partnership with the other 11 Reserve Banks in the Federal Reserve System, is conducting a survey of small business owners. We want to hear from you about the current business climate, your financing needs and credit experiences. Responses are confidential and will be used to brief policymakers.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is committed to supporting small businesses in the Fifth District. This web page highlights our programs and resources aimed at helping small businesses access the technical and financial resources they need.  They are categorized by location: VA, MD, NC, SC and WV.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond began organizing a series of technical assistance programs for small businesses in 2010. We were motivated by small businesses who shared their challenges with finding sufficient credit during an economic downturn and from financial institutions that regularly interact with small businesses searching for credit. We partner with a variety of organizations, including nonprofits, government agencies, and financial institutions, as well as other Reserve Banks across the United States.
