L. Robert Bolling

Mr. Bolling has led ChildSavers in increasing access to trauma-informed mental health and early childhood care and education since October 2012. Mr. Bolling's professional career spans more than three decades and includes balanced experience in public, private, and nonprofit sectors. As a graduate of Amherst College with a degree in political science, he also completed a post-college, two-year fellowship through Amherst. Continuing his education, Mr. Bolling studied leadership at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, completed coursework in Virginia Commonwealth University's Snead School of Business, and is a member of the 2005 Class of Leadership Metro Richmond.

As a leadership volunteer, he has served on many boards, including a 13-year tenure at his high school alma mater, the Groton School in New England. In 2016, Mr. Bolling received the Distinguished Grotonian award which recognizes graduates whose lives of highly-distinguished service reflect the essential values of the School. Mr. Bolling has a passion for mentoring young people and seeks each day to find peace.
