Evening with the Fed: COVID-19 and the Long-Term Effects of Education Disruptions
The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the Maryland Council on Economic Education invites grade 6-–12 educators to attend a free virtual professional development lecture on the long-term economic and educational effects of COVID-19. During this lecture, attendees will learn how the COVID-19 pandemic caused significant economic and educational disruptions and how school closures, reduced financial resources and virtual learning may have irreversible effects and consequences that will likely extend beyond the short term.
