The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is hosting a free seminar on strategic financial management for nonprofit organizations. This afternoon program will present a framework for making better financial decisions for your organization and a process for long-term investing and planning.
The program will begin with a regional economic outlook from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, followed by a discussion of how Boards of Directors and nonprofit executives can build a strategic foundation for financial management by Scott Warren, of Warren Whitney. In rounding out the overview, Bobby Thalhimer, of The Community Foundation, will lead a broad conversation about the best approaches for long term asset management, including endowments and other investment options.
This event is the result of a planning partnership with The Monument Group and Nonprofit Learning Point that provides learning opportunities for nonprofit organizations in the Greater Richmond area.
Nonprofit leaders, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Financial Officers and members of Board of Directors.
